denver, for the day

hello everyone!

long time no talk. a week or so ago my cousin emily told the family she was going to release her christmas cookbook and she wanted us all to be there. between my hectic schedule, it was hard to find a day to spare to go home BUT i found a $60 round trip ticket to denver for just the day! so obviously i had to do it! anyways, i was just so over the moon with seeing family, my parents, and some good ol home cookin. when i arrived, peach bellinis and homemade biscuits greeted me — heaven.

em sat her cookbook down adorned in red twine and told us all to turn to page 97. the sweet words, “bun in the oven” were on the page. it took us a moment to realize, but once we did we all started crying our eyes out haha. literally in the video i screamed!! it was just such a sweet surprise that i definitely was not expecting but am so happy it happened. i literally have been bugging em and nick about having a baby for SUCH a long time, i just want our family to grow so bad! plus, i have about a zillion baby items in my etsy cart to buy once em gave me the news haha.

this is a short little post but im just so happy my little family is growing by one little angel baby!!! ahhh!! im gonna be an aunt! so excited!! i have to go buy my niece/nephew clothes now, bye!
