revive essential oil review
hi there!
if you follow me on instagram (@gabengle), then you probably see my stories with my “blends of the day.” i love my essential oils! i use them in my hair, on my body, in my water, etc. they pretty much do everything but the dishes… come to think of it, there’s probably an oil that can do that. bruno first introduced me to oils couple years ago. he would give me a few oils here and there when he would get replacements and i slowly started learning more and more.
for christmas last year, he gifted me some oils from a brand called revive. he said they would be perfect for me because i didn’t want any memberships, fees, things like that. plus, you could buy single oils. i decided to give them a try and look them up. i was kind of taken back by how inexpensive they were, yet claimed to be 100% pure and authentic. it even showed a case study about their findings. they explained that the reason they are so inexpensive, is that they are not a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) brand. what’s MLM you ask? I’ll give ya the low down.
basically, brands like young living and do-terra use advocates or ‘reps’ that you buy essential oils from. these advocates/reps receive a nice kick-back from every purchase you make, that is why they are so expensive. the brands must pay themselves, as well as their advocates/reps. so you pretty much pay the advocates AND the brand for those oils.
revive pretty much does the opposite. they cut out the middle man and sell directly to their customers through their website. this is why their prices are so low. they also offer free shipping, and free returns (holla)! there are no monthly/yearly fees attached to revive. you simply pay for what you use and that is it. pretty simple, huh?
so here i am, six months later with so many oils i barely know what to do with myself. i can confidently say that these oils are tested and have proven to be gab approved. i have bought so many from them, i am absolutely obsessed with this brand you guys! i will do a blog post soon of my favorite blends and how i use my oils. to be clear: i have nothing against brands like young living or do-terra, i still use some of their products! i just love revive because they are perfect for a gal on a budget. here is a list of the oils i have bought from them and a list of pros/cons about MLM brands vs revive:
revive oils that i have bought/have been gifted:
wild orange
frankincense + myrrh
tea tree
lavender
peppermint
immunity boost
copaiba and coffee

pros of MLM essential oil brands:
they offer special products like: face/body/hair wash, cleaning supplies, lotions, make-up, baby care lines
you can put a face to who are you buying your products from
oil experts available
safe and reliable essential oils
cons of MLM essential oil brands:
pressure to buy more than you need: each month, these brands require customers to spend a certain amount of money in order to use “points” etc.
false “freebies” or “discounts” customers should really read the fine print before they think they are receiving “bonuses”
pros of revive or no MLM brands:
no extra fees or price mark-ups
safe and reliable essential oils
online support and chat rooms with oil experts
free and fast shipping
cons of revive or no MLM brands:
some of these brands do not have products like cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, hygiene products, etc.
no personalization or face-to-face contact with your “rep” only accessible online
